Fluoroplastic Insulated Control Cable

The Fluoroplastic Insulated Control Cable is engineered for reliable control, monitoring and protection circuits in AC rated voltage systems of 0.6/1 kV and 450/750 V. This cable family includes a wide range of models such as KFF (fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed control cable), KFFP (braided shielded version), KFFR (flexible cable), KFV (fluoroplastic insulated with PVC sheath), and armoured variants including KFF22, KFF32 and KFF92.

The cable features a stranded copper conductor (tinned copper optional) with fluoroplastic insulation and sheath. The fluoroplastic material offers a maximum continuous operating temperature of 200°C, with instantaneous tolerance up to 260°C. Minimum ambient temperature for fluoroplastic or silicone rubber sheathed cables is -60°C, with installation temperature not lower than -20°C.

Shielding options include copper wire braid, tinned copper wire braid, copper tape, or aluminium-plastic composite tape. Armouring options include steel tape, steel wire spiral, or steel wire braid for applications requiring mechanical protection. Minimum bending radius is 6 times cable diameter for non-armoured or shielded flexible cables, and 12 times for copper tape shielded or steel tape armoured cables.

The cable delivers excellent oil resistance, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and flame retardance. It is suitable for high-temperature environments of 150–200°C and offers low dielectric constant, low attenuation, and stable electrical performance for signal transmission. Common applications include petrochemical plants, power stations, metallurgical facilities, steel mills, and other industrial control systems operating in harsh conditions.

The cable complies with industry standard JB/T 13485-2018 for fluoroplastic insulated control cables up to 450/750 V.
