Nimonic 263 Key Features

Excellent High-Temperature Strength: Maintains high tensile and creep strength up to 800-900°C, primarily due to precipitation hardening from the gamma prime (γ') phase[Ni₃(Al,Ti)].

Outstanding Oxidation Resistance: High chromium content forms a protective Cr₂O₃ scale, offering excellent resistance to oxidation in air at temperatures up to 870-950°C.

Good Fabricability: Offers a favorable balance of high strength and good formability and weldability compared to some other high-temperature alloys. It can be welded using TIG and MIG methods.
